How is that? Were those pieces of plants that got caught in the moss or did they grow there from seed?
I am not 100% sure, but I think these are pieces that fell from the Sedum rupestre 'Angelina' that lives in a planter box above the moss. I seem to recall looking it up once to see if its seed was viable but in my mind I think that it isn't. As for the bloom, it too is from the same plant, but it was down on the walkway. My guess it that it was the victim of a feline.
I love that about sedums. They end up growing right where they fell. Nice photos.
